ENTRY FEES
- Six-team robins.
- Best ball 9-hole match play competition against the other 5 teams in your robin… a total of five 9-hole matches.
- Players shall stroke off the low-handicap player in each match (who shall play as a zero)..
- Robins shall be determined by team handicaps.
- Total number of teams must be a multiple of 6. Teams shall be entered on a first-registered basis Our goal is to have 30 or 36 teams participating.
- There will be no member-member teams
- In fairness to all teams, efforts should be made for the guest to have a verifiable handicap index prior to play. Where this is not possible, the guest’s golf game shall be discussed with the guest, associated member and tournament committee and a handicap shall be established for the guest; furthermore, such handicap will be on the conservative side in order to protect the field.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 22
- Optional Practice Round. Member and guest can make their own tee time any time of the day. Standard member and guest rates will apply to the member.
- One-hole-horserace for member-guest teams at 5:30 PM for those teams wanting to participate. Entry fee is $10 cash per team with payouts for 1st (50%), 2nd (30%) and 3rd (20%) places.
- Keg will be provided for the horserace.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23
- Delivery of tee package to member and guest. Tee package is nice, but modest to hold down entry fee costs. The tee package will contain useful, custom items that commemorate the event.
- Match 1 – Shotgun start at 8:00 AM
- Match 2 – Shotgun start at 10:30 AM
- Pick up lunch on the fly at end of Match 2
- Match 3 – Shotgun start at 1:00 PM
- Dinner Social Event at SGC. Start time 6:00 PM / dinner at 7:00 PM. Meal will be catered and buffet style. Member, guest, spouses and / or significant others are invited. Live band provided with option to join in either instrumentally or vocally. Anticipated end time is no later than 10:00 PM. Keg provided and Sienna GC cash bar available.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24
- Match 4 – Shotgun start at 8:00 AM
- Match 5 – Shotgun start at 10:30 AM
- Lunch and award ceremony following Match 5 at Sienna GC. Robin winners will receive custom etched 34 oz. beer mug trophies commemorating their win.
- Keg provided at lunch and Sienna GC cash bar available.
- Multi-hole horserace for member-guest teams to start at 2:00 to 2:30 PM for those teams that want to participate. .Entry fee is $10 cash per team with payouts for 1st (50%), 2nd (30%) and 3rd (20%) places.
- Keg will be provided for the horserace.
ENTRY FEES
- Because we are using outside sources (other than Sienna GC) for the tee package and the catered Friday Evening Dinner Social the team entry is in two parts.
- Guest Golf – competition green fees for guest will be charged to the member’s Sienna GC account. The 3 competition nines on Friday plus the 2 competition nines on Saturday plus the Saturday 9 hole multi-hole horserace represent 3 full 18-hole green fees. The guest green fees for the event will be $144 (three $48 18-hole green fees).
- The balance of the entry fee shall be $200 per team payable to the MGA in cash or check and will cover all other activities of the event… except the $10 per team horseraces.
